CEREC Same-Day Crowns
A crown covers and strengthens a tooth when a filling alone may not provide enough support. CEREC brings digital design and in-office fabrication together, reducing the need for a temporary crown and a separate placement visit in suitable cases.
Same-day treatment is not the right answer for every tooth. Your dentist evaluates the remaining tooth structure, location, bite, appearance, and material requirements before recommending a CEREC restoration.

No. CEREC is an excellent option in many situations, but certain teeth or material needs may be better served by a different process.
Will I need a temporary crown?
A temporary is generally unnecessary when a CEREC crown is designed, fabricated, and placed during the same visit.
How do I care for a crown?
Brush and clean between teeth consistently, follow any specific instructions, and maintain preventive visits so the crown and surrounding tissues can be monitored.
